Public realm works in Oostenburgermiddenstraat postponed

On the 10the of July, we informed residents about the planned asphalt works as part of the public realm improvements in Oostenburgermiddenstraat, between Jacob Bontiusplaats and Willem Theunisse Blokstraat.

Works postponed

Unfortunately, the asphalt works cannot start according to the schedule previously communicated. The works are currently on hold. This is because electricity cables have been found underground that are not located where they should be. As a result, it is currently not possible to make asphalt layer on the street.

Revised schedule

We are currently investigating how and when the works can resume. As soon as we have more clarity, we will inform residents of the revised schedule. We understand that this delay may cause inconvenience and raise questions. We are doing our utmost to provide more information as soon as possible.
